The kids and I went to an eye doctor today and we sat there for a full hour without any fighting or whining and/or pushing. It was excellent! I was so proud of them for obeying and using kind words and coloring together. It was AMAZING! I was so excited to have a successful day at the doctor with All four children. So naturally, I had to reward them for being well behaved. Thanks children for being so great today!
So Allyson was getting her eyes checked today while we were sitting at the optometrists office and he asked her to read the line that she saw in the mirror. I was totally proud of her she read the line and then broke out in this little jiggy song. " On the line I see A F C oh yeah that is what I see!" Well the doctor couldn't resist, he burst out in laughter and proceeded to tell me what well behaved and happy children I have. AAAH! As a mother of 4, and as much doubt that you may have of your abilities as a mom, it is music to ones ears to hear someone say that.

Rain Rain Go Away
Allysons New Lyrics:
Rain, Rain, Go Away
I want to go outside to Play
Sun, Sun, Beat the Rain
This rain is such a pain
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
I love the sun and rain
Because I have a smart Brain
La, La, La I want to serve a mission
when I have grown up so
Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Can I Please Have One?
Tell me is it a natural instinct for drama to come from girls? I had to turn to all of your expertize to find out if this is a real tear trying to come out of her eye. So the battle tonight was, mom I promise that I will be good if you let me have a piece of gum before I go to bed. This face was so darn cute to pass up. It is moments like this that make me have to take pictures of my crying children.

It is all worth the wait!
So Cameron is 9 months today and he has started to crawl this last week. I am totally amazed because he is our early crawler. However, I was a concerned because he tried to walk first. Which I think that I would have been okay with, however I am cool with him only crawling at this point in time. With Ally and Logan going off to school, and Dylan potty training, I am busy enough as it is. I don't think that I want to add a new walker into the mix quite yet. At least until I have a bit more time to work with him. Anyway, the first time he started to crawl, the excitement and joy that it brought to my children's faces was just memorable. I wish that I had a camera at that time for pictures of their faces!

Where Are The Rain Boots When You Need 'Em?
I am embarrassed to show this picture, but I couldn't pass it up. This is the result of Allyson deciding that she wanted to help with the dishes Saturday night. I should have known better right! Let me paint a picture for you, the dishes were piled high and the sink overflowing. Dogs were licking up the water on the floor and Dylan is standing on the table ready to jump off. Which one do I get to first? Needless to say, I was cleaning up water for 2 hours afterwards. I guess that it was the thought that counted!!!

Out Of The Mouths Of Babes!
Okay so last night my husband put the kids to bed and he went to the bathroom. While sitting there contemplating the universe, Allyson walks in and says you stink. She then proceeded to ask him, "Daddy, is your pee pee the same as Logan's?" and he says, "Well ......yes it is." She then asked, "Is my pee pee the same as mommies?" and he says, "Yep....it is, but why are you asking me about this?" Allyson said, "Because potty talk is only supposed to stay in the bathroom." What do you say to that? All he could do was laugh and say "your right, Allyson, Potty talk is supposed to only stay in the bathroom!"
It is truly nice to know that even though we think that our children are not listening to you teach them values and respect, they really are picking it up somehow in some way~

5 o'clock Shadow????
Am I just seeing things or is he growing a beard? Just kidding, he seemed to have liked the grape Kool-aid alot yesterday. So today I went clothes shopping for school clothes and for those of you who don't know they are having MAJOR sales out there. Good times! So this is my first time having to buy for school, and I was totally shocked at some of the clothes that they are selling on the racks. It was just a strengthening moment of my testimony to know that I have taught my children values of modesty. I couldn't believe my eyes. I am very grateful for the gospel and for the opportunity to see that what we are teaching our children is truly to follow the prophets council. THANK YOU!

Captain Louis
I just have to say what a good trooper my husband is for letting me post this picture~ HEHEHE! So a few weeks ago, we taught a lesson about Captain Moroni and how he was prepared to fight the Lamanites. In our class we wore the armor and prepared for battle. As we put it on we had to learn what each piece of armor meant, well of course, Louis being the kid at heart that he is decided that he would try it out before we took it to class. Onward soldiers!

Here it Is......
Okay, so I thought that I would try out this blogging thing since everyone has asked me, "Do you have a blog page". I gotta tell you, I kinda dig it. It is so much faster than actually writing it down. Some would say that it is pure laziness, but I call it being too busy!
